F.e. you can create background which consists of cells
and the cell is CRT
You can also create "SD" of these CRT cells, but with bigger size this is a quick example (~1min in Paint)

hmm what are you thinking of the idea of tons of game covers in the background? cant imagine how it would look like..but maybe you could do it to test it?

ok i did it with the tower of games and it looked awfull! so i tried the wall of games with a small amount and a big amount of games: here they are:D

uhhm looks better than i thought 
but maybe you could pick games like: Final Fantasy, GTA, PES, Star Wars, Loco Roco, MX vs ATV, Dragonball, The Simpsons, God of War, Monster Hunter, Buzz
it would give it the perfect background but only if you have too much time^^ maybe you could change the screen of the tv. maybe you could put cloud in the middle and next to him the god of war and the gta character and bit smaller maybe a star wars trooper and bart or something like this..i hope you understand what i mean, if not let me know and i´ll draw a picture.

I have a very busy life ya know :P
I mean, i've got to smoke,learn,teach,train,write,cry for my psp, etc
(i destroyed my usb connection inside of my psp :S) but how about you create that picture or at least give me a simple idea of what you think??

ohh yeaah masterpiece is the right word in my opinion
but andy why didnt you like the "sd" in the first picture, i think there should eb somewhere the "sd" to so that anyone can easily see which version is which version?
mhh maybe you could make the picture mirrored, too?
