desperatly need your help

so, i was trying to create a new partition for windows 7 beta,
i shrinked my windows xp partition and tried to install it, worked,
after that i deleted it (don ask why)
i got a error of something like mbr error and booterror
no problem, popped in my windows xp cd and repaired it by fixmbr and fixboot
windows xp will not boot up anymore, and when i check this harddrive with linux live cd, i notice that all my files are still there, but most of them are 0 kb!!!
does anyone know how to recover these files? i desperatly need help :S

Just try some software for file recover (f.e. EasyRecoveryPro - shareware)
