i cant, i stamped all over it in a rage, my idstorage became corrupted. dont even know how it was turned off working fine then i pulled the memory card and started it up again and it was a brick. i'm thinking of buying another psp slim but dont know if i want too. i had it since cristmas and hardly played it i just liked messing about with the homebrew stuff. apart from medal of honour heroes 2 i didn't play games on it i could get one in 14 days but dont think i wanna. i've got an xbox360 at my flat and waiting for my wii to be delivered for my girlfriends house and i can get medal of honour heroes 2 on that. if fusa blows my head off i might rebuy psp slim but as for now i really dont think i'll waste another £129 on something that just lurks around most of the time. if i do i'll defo do a nand dump thats where i went wrong this time. keep up the good work with fusa. please keep my beta status open because i am prone to being undecisive angry

PS: fusa had nothing to do with my bricking(i was messing about with my pandora trying to fix a phat that someone gave me).

PPS please tell me what to do too make a new slim unbrickable(or at least totaly recoverable)

Just dump nand and save it somewhere in safe place smile that'll be enough wink

P.S.: Why don't u try to fix your IDStorage with Key Cleaner? ah?

No difference for "recoverability" smile
You can make 2 dumps: one with your original FW (b4 installing m33) n one with CFW (after installing m33)
The 1st will be usefull if decide to return PSP to store (due some reason)
The 2nd will be usefull for quick unbrick to CFW

anyway u can create just one smile

I'm curious, what's mean MU and SS? smile
Maybe "MU" means "memory unit" like in XBox :D

thanks guys your really helpfull will be backing my nand up to every where possible. is there a possiblity that an incorrectly setup pandora battery could brick a console. the reason i ask is that i tried my originaly setup pandora which supposedly worked on every psp however i did 5 (phats and slims) no trouble then i get this one that when i put the battery in it just booted into the original psp like no pandora kit was in the machine, then none of the umd disk's didn't work and the screen switches off when i press the home key the note key or the screen key. so after downloading some stuff from the web (easy installer). however when i created the easy setup, stick and battery it worked on the one console but would'nt boot in my slim. when i put my original slim battery back in, the console was dead. i eventually got it back on but with corrupted nand. could the pandora battery have caused this and could it screw up the new PSP. i made a universal (supposedly fat and slim installer)unbricker /cfw installer that loaded on the broken disk drive psp(which is now CFW'ED) but could it screw my new slim. please help as a few words of wisdom might put my mind at ease, cuz that'll be nearly £300 spent on PSP consoles in 7 months.

I'll try to help you step by step.

Pandora kit contents is
a) Pandora battery - it's ordinary battery with modified s/n in EEPROM memory

I recommend to use "Hellcat's pandora installer" to create one.
You can also verify that you've made correct pandora battery with help of that tool
(Just restart the programm and look at s/n it must be 0xffffffff, if it's so, you are ready to go, otherwise you've failed )
At any rate, I suppose, you have already made right pandora battery smile
b) JigKick card - if I recall correctly MS with partition moved to ~248KB from 1st sector
You can use "Hellcat's pandora installer" or some tools for windows to create one.
I made it by the following method:
1) format MS in windows - right click on your drive letter > format (Or run>cmd.exe format driveletter: /FS:FAT)
2) Use "mspformat driveletter" (It will prepare you ms to install msipl.bin)
3) Run despertar_cementerio4_2 - it will create all necessary files on your MS including msipl.bin on root
4) install msipl.bin to ms "msinst driveletter path2msipl"
That's all smile
If you can't load from your JigKick card, BUT YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU HAVE 100% WORKING PANDORA BATTERY, you can try to do the following:
1) Completely format your ms with help of "Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool"
2) Repeat my method (see above)

Running a Pandora Easy installer is the best way to make your memory stick

This one will install 3.80m33-5:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=62IKERX5

Now all you need is a Pandora Battery, if you have CFW you can run Hellcat's installer. I personally use OSPandora or something like that

Good luck with your next PSP
