In my opinion,there are 3 kinds of video formats.
1, RGB,digital (progressive), provided by the PSP main video processor, to the PSP local LCD screen;
2,YPbPr,digital color component (progressive), transferred from the RGB signals by video processor, to D terminal or component terminal;
3,CVBS,analog interlaced,get from YPbPr,by DAC and scaler,need digital-analog convert and interlace, to the AV jack, it's now what foosa focus on.
Am I right?
Im just guessing , Hope for the exact scheme.
