A Possibly Stupid Question

I see the forum for beta testers and i was curious as to if they needed to ask or if they were selected.

Reason I'm asking about this is that I really want to help out with the testing process, and god knows I have the resources and intelligence to do so. However, I can't help with the public testing at the moment due to me having an HDTV which doesn't handle interlace very well. Optimal settings for games tend to screw with the picture on most games... ie speed is fine but getting black lines when the game scrolls/moves. I know this has to do with interlace vs progressive.

Basically I'm wondering about how to be a tester for fusa HD... I haven't seen many (public) test results for it and I was hoping that I could help in that department despite being a newcomer to the site.

You don't have to be selected, well in fact you have, but you can always test FuSa and post your results on the beta testers zone, i did that for FuSa B45 (check my name by the c.list i've done more than 40!) And now i'm an beta tester. There was an Unpublic zone where you could download FuSaHD, but now it's gone (i think that is because some people were downloading and posting it on other sites) But just test it, post your results and hope Andy_Man likes you biggrin

---------------------------------------------
Everybody who has posted here, will be added to the top of c.list and to the README.txt as beta-tester(rank=testedgames)
Most active will get access to the unpublic builds. (found this on top of the c.list :D)

Also having things like immaculate grammar and being an overall nice person helps.

heh, thanks for the heads up in that department. I'm a former computer teacher so being nice and having proper grammar kinda goes with the territory.

I'm also a programmer myself so I like to help out with projects like this, especially when I find them worthy of my time to actually test and help improve.
